In celebration of National Poetry Day 2016, here is a wonderful short poem which captures beautifully the joy of living in the present and noticing all that is around us.
10,000 by Wu Men
Ten thousand flowers in spring,
the moon in autumn,
a cool breeze in summer,
snow in winter.
If your mind isn’t clouded
by unnecessary things,
this is the best season of your life.
mmmmmmm beautiful! 🙂

What a charming poem! I so do love the change in seasons. Today is the first truly chilly autumn morning, and it is delightful. Hope you have a good week!

So glad you liked the poem – I always think of you when I put my poetry hat on! And yes, it has turned very chilly here too – I rather like it when seasons behave as they are supposed to! 🙂
