In my last post, I spoke about the joys of art journalling. One of the aesthetic pleasures of this activity is all the ‘toys’ one gets to play with in the form of stationery and art materials. Here is a sample of some of the things on my work table at the moment. As you can see, I am in the process of finishing off a couple of map-related pages – the map in the centre of the picture is of course bonnie Scotland!!
My pens are stored in mugs which depict iconic images of Edinburgh and Scotland.
You can see Glencoe, the Forth Rail Bridge and Edinburgh Castle from left to right. The artwork is taken from a series of graphic railway posters by Peter McDermott – they are fabulous and inspirational to have around when journalling.
Of course, it also helps to be sitting with this view over to the Forth Estuary out of our window! 🙂
What a heavenly setting! And that looks like the beautiful table which was part of your porridge post on LeapingTracks. Yes? No?

LOL! I wondered if you would comment on the table – and you have not disappointed! It has become a beloved companion 🙂
